Western Canada GAA Tournament 2017

The Calgary Chieftains are proud to be this year's hosts for the Western Canada GAA Tournament.

This tournament will be held over Canada Day weekend with games scheduled to take place on Saturday July 1 and Sunday July 2. The event coincides with Canada's 150 celebrations and Calgary Chieftains' 40th year anniversary!

 

Irish Sporting Entertainment

If you are a player or a spectator, be sure to be present at Western Canada's biggest GAA event of the year. This will be a rare opportunity to witness the exciting Gaelic sports of men's and ladies Gaelic Football, Hurling and Camogie in Calgary. We will have a display of the best Western Canada has to offer in adult, kids and veteran's GAA! Come for the sport and stay for the food, drink, entertainment and Irish music!

This facility boasts 2 full fields which will have games running on both days, a kids field, warm-up area and clubhouse with food and drink being served all day via a cash bar.

Traditional Irish musicians will play outside the clubhouse from 1-3pm on Sunday 2nd July.

There will also be an opportunity to purchase club/GAA merchandise and equipment.

Accomodation
